Milano, Piazza Cordusio

Palazzo Venezia was built in the end of the 19th century, in “eclectic style” by architect Luca Beltrami.

The historic Italian insurance group Generali owns the building. The name of the palace comes from the Venetian roots of Generali Insurance.

Following a recent renovation, the building will open again soon as a luxury hotel: Palazzo Cordusio Gran Meliá. Generali Insurance offices will move to the new building in CityLife area instead.

The location is ideal, between the Duomo and the Castello Sforzesco. Literally 1 minute walking from the Cathedral.
