2023 Has been the all-time record year for tourism in Milano.
8.5 millions of visitors arrivals were recorded, the highest number of all times. There was 1 million of tourists more than the previous record year that was 2019, before Covid-19. The busiest month was July with nearly 900.000 arrivals.
The government of the city commented that they are proud of the touristic appeal of the city that is now generating interest 365 days a year and promised that they will go on investing in services both for visitors and also for the residents. We obviously hope that they will keep their promise.
